11PM. please get here soon. I am so tired!!
Goal: Get back in shape: At LEAST 30 minutes of some kind of exercise/movement a day.
How: Make time. Early mornings are obviously not working (not because I don't wake up early, I know that's what you were thinking). Manage my time better at work- except for Tuesdays, get out of the office by 3:30PM.
Log: Today, I ran 3 miles, walked 1.5 // Can't even really hold back, I was pretty proud. After about three weeks of NOT working out, running, walking maybe more than three times total, I was still running 7:45min miles without pushing it. Yes, I hated running them, but it was nice to look down at my watch and realize I'd run 30 seconds faster than what I aimed for. Was really happy to be running/moving again. Neither my back, nor my knees hurt while running, nor after.
Hindrances: Pumpkin everything. Discovered pumpkin ice cream today- it takes just like what I was going to bake... So good.
What's wrong with this picture: Have to return two items of clothing sometime this week because they're already fitting funny/too big. Fortunately I tried them on before I cut the tags.
Btw, Banana Republic downtown closes at 7PM. Savannah is such a strange place. There is no "norm". It makes me laugh as I walk through the streets downtown :), then I just look like a really happy young lady-like Mary Tyler Moore! Oh my goodness, that is me!!

Ever just feel like writing a haiku? That was mine.
Ever just feel like writing a haiku? That was mine.
I'm writing this as I wait for my toast to toast :).
I have been praying for a friend/mentor of mine as she ministers to the needs of people in Guatemala through Faith In Practice medical mission teams. I'm so happy that she gets to go. This woman has a heart bigger than her body. Below are the scripture readings for the time that they'll be there. If you would like to pray for this team along with me, you can use these scriptures in your prayer time, or for your own edification!
