Saying Yes To The Dress

1. I bought a wedding dress this weekend.
2. It was the most exhausting thing I've ever done.
3. It did take longer than I thought it would, even after doing a lot of looking before my mom got to town.
4. I got the very last dress I tried on, on a whim (because I always wanted to try something like that on).
5. I realized that I really, really do not think anyone should ever say "so is this the dress?" or "Are you saying yes to this dress?" or anything like it because buying a wedding dress was pretty much like buying any other dress for me... except that every other time I shop with friends, no one says, "Are you saying yes to this blouse?!"
6. My mom was so cute and had NO idea what kind of dress I liked, but eventually came around to it.
7. I can relate to all of the brides you see on TV dress shows.
8. I feel like I've got some kind of hang-over because I'm so tired.
9. Also decided on a reception site. Want to book it now, but have to wait until tomorrow.
10. Now that those things are done, I can sit down and look at bridesmaids dresses, colors, and everything ELSE I haven't had time to look at (I mean, really people- it's only been a week and believe it or not, I didn't plan that stuff before I was engaged).
