X X
X X
X X
like that.
I am the first X in the series (back left?). And in the middle of the opening song, I was moved so much to do all I could to stand and worship God, arms raised in abandon. The thing is that this isn't abnormal for me, I suppose. It was abnormal because it was a place, similar to my church, where lifting hands in worship through music is...not the usual.
Just thought it was random. There were blue lights and fog from a fog machine in the room, and I was wearing jeans and boots.
That is all.
I love these kinds of dreams because they challenge me. They renew me. As much as our ministers and preachers in this world want people to know God and experience his grace and freedom, I want people to experience it through worship. Matt Redman actually mentioned something this morning on the Passion broadcast (I'm watching, and it's weird without all the people around you): You should be changed when you worship. Changed because you've been in the presence of God.
The scriptures tell us that God inhabits our praises, that the Spirit is with us.
The questions I pose to you this morning are:
How have you been changed through your worship (on Sundays, and everyday)? When was the last time you were changed because of the time you've spent in the presence of God?
That is all.
