However, it has been a while since I have last updated this blog! We have been busy, and in between, I have been lazy and busy with pinterest recipes!
Matt graduated from the Career Course. We had a lovely ball, and subsequent graduation. I wore a dress from www.renttherunway.com. I kind of love this website. I browse it for hours when I know I am looking for a dress!
This is Matt and I with our friends Kim and Travis at the AVC3 graduation ball. They were the ones who brought me to Matt when he returned from Afghanistan.
Since graduation, we've been enjoying our time together. M usually just has to check in and come back home. He has been running around like a wild man trying to get paperwork correct.
This past weekend, we marked off another milestone on the way to our move: We visited my family in Florida! It was awesome! I just love going home there! This weekend, my sister and her boyfriend came as well, and brought their wave runners so we could all go out... and we did! We spent all morning/afternoon on the Crystal River/in the ocean. Let me tell you... sitting on the back of a waverunner trusting someone else not to take your life is ScArY. Driving is much more fun. I realized this weekend that my husband is more loving, careful, and patient with me than I give him credit for (duh)!
The always beautiful power plant in the background at Shell Island.
We made it out to the barge canal, which was awesomely smooth and straight!
We also went to the Withlacoochee river for the evening. Weaving and bobbing around all the curves on that river was, "like a Jedi". We had never been on the river or out in the ocean with the fam before, so it was pleasing to find out later we had taken them "farther than we'd gone before", and pretty much "the longest time we've been on the water...". It was such a great time!
Now both Matt and I (and my dad) are sick. How did we catch a cold? Who knows... none of us caught it from each other. Our best guess is the grossest one, which is from the place we ate at on the river. GROSS. You may think it's funny but it'snot.
We are home and attempting to get motivated to finish prepping for the move. Because...
The movers come tomorrow! Sweet! I can't wait to get our stuff out of the house so I can clean it and feel more organized and in control (went there).
From here we will make a few weeks journey to VEGAS BABY! And then to our next duty station :). We look forward to all of the stops in between, and then eventually moving into our new home!!
I could have some very deep and spiritual things to say, but I will make this...
The end!
Love,
Lindsay & Matt
