This is not insightful or thought provoking. Just a ramble :).

Haven't updated in a little bit. No reason to update. Life is much of the same things over and over again. I work during the week towards Sundays and this is the general repetition of my life!

I have been going through 1 Peter this week, reading and rereading. Peter always challenges me because I have to really dig into the language, history, and be more exegetical than many other NT books (I know more about them, I guess).

I got a keyboard. It's awesome. The Yamaha S90xs. I LOVE the sounds on it. I chose it over the Roland I was looking at because it just beat it overall in the sound bank arena... the piano sound is a little richer, as well. I actually like how you can hear the piano it was recorded from (especially right around "high" C (2 above middle C).

Anyway, nuff about that! I went to Atlanta last weekend to see Jordan and get that keyboard. I got a little extra love as I went to see Kaila and her children, seriously, the most beautiful babies I have ever seen, anywhere, anytime (sorry anyone else, I still love your children, just not like these girls). Went to Ikea for a dresser set, and they didn't have it in stock :(. I was sad... but got a really neat bookshelf instead!

On another random note, I have become very aware of one thing: The first thing that people notice about me is my hair. Hands down. I walked into work this afternoon and BEFORE I EVEN GOT INSIDE, heard 3 comments about my hair. It's curly today. I know this is because most people have seen it straight... but it IS naturally curly, and this haircut I have makes it look AWESOME curly. More awesome than ever before :). It's great, but I often lose things in it! I found a bobby pin I missed taking out from last night this morning.

And, now I am off to set up for band rehearsal. I am still reading "Worship Matters" and "unChristian". Maybe I'll finish one tonight. Or by tomorrow at least.

Anyone want to work PowerPoint for worship on Sunday? I need someone...

And the iPad looks neat. Very neat.

So, moving on

Much love...
Lindsay
