Our New Home

Matt and I have finally landed in our new home town. In short, we love it!

We have been praying for this place since we found out, and God has surely prepared the way for us. It's wonderful to be in a college town! I have never seen so much purple clothing in my life. Everyone wears it, all the time. If you're not in purple on game day, you're in the minority.

We have gotten into our home, received our household goods, and have begun the tedious unpacking process! We have gotten rid of so many boxes, and yet there is still such a mess in our house! I suppose we are blessed to have these things, but we will be getting rid of many of these little nick-knacks soon! I discovered the joy of selling on Craig's List the other day. Matt and I had been talking about selling his couches since ... well, since we decided to get married and live together! So, I put them on Craig's List and they were gone before the end of the day. #CollegeTown

So the decorating adventure as begun.

But despite the still messy, undecorated home-- as I write this sipping on delicious peach lambic, watching "Up" -- I look back at my wonderful husband cooking the most delicious curry chicken in our beautiful kitchen and can't help but feel joy, blessedness, gratefulness, and home. I know the future will bring challenges, joys, and many adventures and faith trials, but I am content in this moment-- In this home.
