Some Things I Am Excited About

In date order, so you don't think I'm a heathen because I put a fictional dystopian novel ahead of Billy Graham.

• What I Am Reading Right Now - How To Worship A King by Zach Neese
  
• Allegiant is being released tomorrow. Of course I'm not staying up past midnight to read it. That would be irresponsible.
  
• Who knew that Jesus was a JEWISH man? Why wouldn't our story of salvation be a wedding? What I am reading next - Restore My Heart by Denise Glenn (also the mother of Danielle Young, female vocalist Caedmon's Call... Without being too much of a groupie, I was glad to be able to share with a mother how her daughter had impacted my life through music).
  
• Now, if you're like me, you're too young to have gone to a revival, or been around for some of the great evangelists (including but not limited to BG). But this part of history is something I've always appreciated and read about! This is a powerful testimony, to me. It kind of causes a buzz around the Christian community, and I'm more excited about this initiative than I thought I would be. I first heard about it through the cd... My Hope. Pretty much all of the artists on this album have been my favorite, at one point in my life. The words are amazing. The melodies capture the feeling of that atmosphere I've never experienced. Like I said... I'm excited.
