Mother Theresa begged God and all those that she encountered not to be known for anything but Christ in her. She truly desired that everything in and about her, all that she ever did or said would point others to Jesus Christ, who filled her with everything she ever needed in this life.
Sometimes walking in grace is more like intense interval training for grace. It is not a walk in the park. This morning as I sought after the grace and wisdom I know I need for the day through Christ, I had, as I often do, the song "Where We Belong" from Hillsong stuck in my head. Where I belong is at the foot of the cross, surrendered to God's will for my life as I live, right now. For the joy that I find in Christ, for today, I have been given grace beyond reason. It is freeing and life-giving. Thanks be to God.
