My Life With A Cat, Today.

Owning a cat, forgetting to close the nursery door all the way, and rocking a baby to sleep are three things that can never happen. One is sweet, the other is pure evil tempting you to kill it, and creating a murderous rage in your heart which you must control lest you wake baby. I just spent the last 10 minutes attempting to nurse/rock a baby to sleep while throwing whatever I can get my hands on at the cat who is trying to get into the crib, but is thwarted by the humidifier, which he keeps walking into and sneezing, and knocking things off the shelf. I'm a horrible shot with limited mobility so he is still there, staring at me like I'm crazy, surrounded by burp rags and teething rings. Why is the cat doing this, you ask? Because he doesn't like the food I put out for him. I, obviously, gave up and am now attempting to rid my heart of the rage this cat has stirred up. Prayers are appreciated.

Update:
I did get him locked in the closet.
