Sing My Love: {Annabelle} 2 Month Update, Much?

It has been a HOT minute since I have updated this blog.

Here is a recap:

I had a baby.
On September 16th, at 11:44 p.m.
She came 16 minutes before her due date.
Here name is Annabelle.
She is the most amazing little creature, ever.
Labor and delivery is easy compared to the recovery.

She is now 10 weeks old, and lives on the small side of average for size/weight.
Is right on target, and probably a little more advanced, developmentally.
Daddy and I think she's going to be a lefty.
She smiles and laughs A LOT.
She woke up an hour early this morning. WHAT?!
That's okay, because she's dropped the 2 AM feeding and replaced it with ONE 3-3:30 feeding.
Result? Mommy gets to sleep in 4-5 hour intervals! WHAT?!
She is sleeping right now.
All the hard work, not leaving the house because it's nap time, & working on routines is paying off.
Bath time is our favorite.
She is batting at and grabbing toys.
Sofie the Giraffe is her favorite plush toy.
We love her very much!

And here is what I wanted to update my Facebook with, today, but didn't:

Annabelle woke up an hour early (insert red eyes and black under-eye circles here). Fortunately, she's sleeping in 5 hour stretches now so I had enough sleep... but I hated starting the morning watching interviews and coverage of the unrest in Ferguson. I should have never turned on the TV. But then I changed the station, watched an excellent new episode of NCIS, had some coffee, let a sweet baby sleep in my arms, read my Advent devotional (Waiting Here For You on YouVersion) and after 3 hours I have just hit the point at which I have had enough coffee to make the excited about everything right now. Point of this story? As much as I am a stickler for making Annabelle sleep in her bed for every nap... I think everyone should have a little baby fall asleep in their arms every once in a while. It's the best.
